Hello.

I’m John Collins, an Integrative Counsellor, Psychotherapist, and Supervisor, offering therapy in person, online and by telephone from my office in East London.

With over 20 years’ experience as a mental health and wellbeing professional, I bring a warm, non-judgemental and compassionate approach to supporting people through life’s challenges. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a range of settings, including community counselling services, schools, and drug and alcohol treatment programmes. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the many different ways people can struggle, and the unique paths they can take towards healing.

As an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, my approach allows me to bring together different elements of therapeutic thinking to support you to move forward, and towards living the life you want to live.

I have experience of working with a wide variety of issues, including:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Stress

  • Loss and Bereavement

  • Identity, Difference and Diversity

  • Childhood issues

  • Abuse (Emotional, Physical and Sexual)

  • Trauma

  • Anger

  • Relationships
